Position Summary
The Welder in the Sanitation division should have in-depth knowledge of welding machinery and electrical equipment. The successful candidate will also have a steady hand and outstanding attention to detail. The city is looking for a highly talented welder to join our dynamic team. We"re seeking a hardworking professional who likes meeting challenges. The welder will operate a light duty to medium duty truck pulling a trailer loaded with residential containers to either drop off or pick up. The incumbent will also assemble containers for new accounts or will replace old broken ones. Incumbent will assist with welding and assembling commercial containers. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Sanitation Account Manager and is evaluated by the completeness and efficiency with which assignments are performed.
