Partner with the best

The Welder will be required to carry out cladding on machined parts to a high degree of quality and work on his/her own initiative to meet the plant's production schedule. The role will require the ability to weld many different types of components related to Gas and Steam turbine repairs. This position may be required to flex between the first and second shifts as needed.

As a Welder, you will be responsible for:

• Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with procedures and ISO quality specifications
• Setting up and welding components within the parameters of the specific weld procedure. Detailed grinding and blending of components after weld repairs.
• Adhering to company safety and environmental policies
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings & specifications.
• Overlay and repair of components using TIG per weld procedures.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in using foot control TIG/GTAW machines
• Be flexible to support 24/7 outages and work different shifts as needed.
• Have the ability to certify in crane rigging
• Have the ability to certify in forklift operation
• Have the ability to pass weld tests and qualifications
• Be familiar with job-shop, manufacturing, or field service environments
• Have a High School Diploma or approved equivalent.
• Have 3+ year of experience welding in a similar environment
• Work overtime as needed
