Our client is a national organization who offers design, fabrication and complete field installation services for industries including wood products, pulp and paper, chemical, food processing, and many others. Working with their organization, you’ll be exposed to different types of projects, gain hands-on experience, and weld products for some of Oregon’s largest companies and industries.

Salary
Competitive hourly wage of $25 / hr - $26+ / hr (depending on experience and shifts) + benefits (when you convert to a permanent hire)
What You Will Be Doing

• Welding and fabrication: production welding (MIG), completing sub-assemblies, assemblies, performing installs, and assisting with special projects (pipe fitting, panel systems, and structural work)
• Reading, interpreting, and following blueprints and work orders to customer specifications
• Performing safety and quality checks, setting up, laying out, and reworking finished products

What You Bring To The Table

• Mechanically inclined, safety oriented, and positive attitude
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints, use of various tools such as a tape measure, grinder, and power tools
• Welding certifications are an asset, but not required
• Overhead cranes and forklifts operating experience preferred.
• Strong skills and knowledge of fabrication, MIG and Flux Core welding - we are only hiring experienced welders and fabricators
• The ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on your feet
