Weekday 2Nd Shift Wastewater Operator

Pay is based on experience. Starting from $24/hr +$3/hr shift premium = $27 (minimum)

Position Summary

Safely monitors and maintains the washer and wastewater systems. Performs various tests to ensure top quality and effectively communicates with co-workers, shop floor employees and teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilizes root cause analysis tools (5-Why, fishbone diagram, PDCA)
• Maintains a 5S compliant work station.
• Monitors and maintains the shot blast machine, washer and Wastewater Treatment (WWT) systems.
• Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
• Supports ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Understands the importance and necessity of the 5-Gen principle process.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills in regards to pumps, tools, and chemical streams to prevent down time on the paint line and WWT system.
• Performs various tests to ensure quality results from our washer and WWT systems.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
• Basic chemistry skills.
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight.
• English language competency and legible writing ability
• Basic math skills.
• Must register and successfully complete Wastewater training course and successfully pass the waste water certification test. Approval must be obtained by HR and Manufacturing Manager.
• Ability to obtain and maintain wastewater license within 12 months.

• Previous WWT experience
