Minds On specializes in creating dynamic websites that help our clients improve engagement and drive growth. We build sites in a variety of CMS platforms and hosting environments, including WordPress, DNN, Shopify and more, serving multiple markets — mid-size to enterprise. We’re looking for a talented web designer with deep knowledge in UI/UX and familiarity with HTML/CSS who is able to think outside of the box, but also work within project parameters, to solve web design challenges for B2B and B2C companies.

About the Role

We’re looking for an energetic, positive-minded, and motivated web designer to join our experienced team. You’ll lead web projects from start to finish, collaborating with clients, writers, and developers to design human-centric experiences for various leading technology and manufacturing clients. As a small, but growing company, you’ll have an immediate voice and opportunity to improve our processes and workflows for even greater efficiency and output.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who gets excited about solving problems and collaborating with others but can work independently and manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and experience needed to be successful:

• Ability to manage project deadlines
• Ability to meticulously QA developed websites for visual perfection, and provide detailed feedback to developers for any revisions
• Experience designing for a variety of screen sizes and platforms for fully responsive web experiences
• Must be able to work closely with developers and deliver design solutions that meet requirements and can be translated into the appropriate CMS and code
• Execute final “pixel perfect” UI designs and package, spec, annotate and prep for development
• Detail oriented; ability to take direction and ensure work is thorough
• Provide prototypes/deliverables to describe interactions and motion to enhance UI

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in web design
• Proficient in Figma (our primary design tool) and Adobe Suite CC
• Must be familiar with InVision and capable of building simple prototypes
• Experience with one or some of the following: WordPress, DotNetNuke (DNN), and Shopify
• Role will report directly to the creative director
• Must have a strong portfolio of relevant web design work that demonstrates your understanding and proven-ability to serve as the design lead from start to finish
