Description

We are looking for an extremely talented Web Designer to help us create the face of a new WEB-based product.

Requirements

Strong visual sense, with an eye for clean, effective modern design. Ability to quickly design cross-browser UI from conceptual sketches/mock-ups using raster or vector-art tools. Fluent in web design technologies, CSS, X/HTML, Javascript, DOM, JSON, XML/XSL, (i.e., AJAX, Web 2.0), W3C Web standards and cross-platform, cross-browser issues.

Knowledge of DOM a plus. Graphic design and writing skills are also a plus.

You need a healthy understanding of web standards. Ability to learn quickly, stay at the forefront of emerging design, and technologies. You should be comfortable taking specific direction as well as working independently with general guidance. You should be comfortable juggling multiple tasks and projects while adhering to firm deadlines. You must understand programming principles and contribute to conversations where above acronyms are used often.
