Job Summary The Water/Wastewater Department provides expertise and services in community water and wastewater facilities. Project types include but are not limited to water main improvments, wells, water towers, water/wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater lift stations, and sewer mains.
Responsibilities and Duties The CAD Design Technician will: Work with engineers and designers to draft municipal water related infrastructure projects. Use primarily AutoCAD Civil 3D to: Set up project plan sheets Draw alignments Create pipeline profiles Create Surfaces Draw site and grading plans Qualifications and Skills Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Preferrerd Drafting or engineering degree
2+ years experience working in the engineering industry on municipal water related or linear pipeline projects
Ability to interpret survey data, create/modify surfaces Abilty to create and edit pipeline networks, plan production, and sheet set manager Revit Experience
