General Definition of Work


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs intermediate skilled administrative support duties in the City’s Water Resources and Conservation Program. Duties may include analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining environmental compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Research and review grant funding opportunities. Work is performed under the direction of the Assistant to the City Manager.

The Ideal Candidate will be able to project timelines, goals, and objectives, establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the public, and with State, and Federal agencies. The ability to research, compile, analyze, interpret, and integrate water resource management data from a variety of sources and databases.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


High School Diploma or GED with coursework in water treatment and water distribution, and moderate experience in analyzing environmental compliance techniques, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:


National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) training based on assignment.

Must meet and maintain all training and education requirements for the position.

Valid Arizona Driver License of appropriate class.
