Warehouse Worker/Material Handler

Earn $17+ per hour depending on experience and duties – Start Immediately.

Our warehouse team at Maxxima is growing and we’re looking for full-time professional, dedicated, and self-motivated individuals to join us.

Here’s what you'll do:

• Assist with receiving process loading and unloading incoming shipments
• Process orders using scanning equipment (bar code scanner)
• Assist with all other warehouse picking, packing, shipping and receiving duties as assigned
• Verify product orders picked and packed, perform inventory cycle counts, research missing parts, and report discrepancies
• Pick and pack, stock and replenish, and ship customer lighting orders

Here's what we require:

• Ability to speak, read and understand English to compare and comprehend product information
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and motorized warehouse equipment in accordance with safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for shifts ranging from 8 – 10 hours
• Promote a positive and cooperative attitude and encourage others to stay focused on meeting warehouse efficiency standards as a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of warehouse distribution experience preferred
• Excellent work ethic, hard-working, and reliability
• Successful working in a team as well as independently
• Perform all job functions following proper safety requirements
• Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull weights of up to 50 pounds; products vary in weight and size
