Warehouse Worker/Class C Driver

PACE Supply is growing, and we are looking for self-starters to join our team in San Carlos, CA. We need a motivated Class C Driver/Warehouse Worker to strive for excellence and help us maintain our commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service. As a warehouse worker/delivery driver at PACE Supply, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for making deliveries as well as performing general warehouse duties such as picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to lift heavy packages, operate forklifts, and use hand-held scanners. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will interact with customers, suppliers, and team members on a daily basis.

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, prepares merchandise for customers by promptly filling and packaging orders for will call or shipping.

• Makes notation on invoice for materials pulled for customer pick up and places in file until customer signs it for their materials.
• Receives orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags.
• Assists counter sales when needed by entering orders into the system and pulling and loading orders.
• Pulls orders from inventory, manually and/or utilizing forklift.
• Checks filled orders prior to delivery or pick up to ensure accuracy and timeliness of order.
• Prepares materials for delivery to and/or pick up by customers. Packs materials in boxes or on pallets (as appropriate), and labels accordingly.
• Waits on "Express Will Call Customers" to help ensure fast turnaround in processing their orders.

Education And/or Experience

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. A high school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. Warehouse, plumbing, and/or forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.
