Warehouse Worker Jobs

UNFI of Prescott, Wisconsin, located 24 miles southeast of St. Paul, MN, is hiring for experienced and entry level warehouse associates to join our team. Offering a $2,000 Sign-on Bonus for full-time order selectors!

Job Overview:

A Warehouse Worker uses a power pallet jack to navigate the warehouse to pick orders utilizing a vocollect headset system. You will be responsible for safely and accurately pulling and gathering orders of goods in our warehouse. Additionally, an Order Selector will palletize the orders, shrink wrap the pallets, and place them in the assigned locations.

Pay:

• +$.1.25/hr for 2nd Shift
• Starting wage is $20.75/hour with a pay increase to $22.50/hr upon 2 consecutive weeks of hitting productivity
  • +$.1.25/hr for 2nd Shift
  • +$2.00/hr for Weekends
  • +$2.00/hr for Freezer environment (if applicable)
• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus
• $2,000 Referral Bonus for each referral and no restrictions on the amount of full-time selector referrals
• +$2.00/hr for Freezer environment (if applicable)
• +$2.00/hr for Weekends

Schedule:

• Guaranteed Saturdays off and 1 additional day during the week!
• Average 8.5-10 hour shifts
• Sunday and 4 days during the week; 12:00 (noon) pm start time on Sunday and 2:00 pm start time during the week

Position Requirements:

• Lifting objects weighing from less than 20 to 60lbs consistently
• Available for work on Sundays
• Warehouse experience selecting is preferred but not required
• Occasionally pushing, reaching, pulling, and gripping
• Must have the ability to work in various temperatures
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent desired

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Immediately informs a supervisor or manager of any potential safety threats, any violation of company policy, keeps area clean and debris out of work area
• Places labels on the side of the cases
• Inspects assigned equipment for safety issues
• Stages pallets in appropriate bay and builds a stable pallet
• Operates pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient manner
• Shrink wraps and labels with correct truck, stop and other required information.
• Identify the pick locations and safely pick the items
• Picks the correct item and quantity, checking UPC’s or item descriptions
