Warehouse Worker Jobs

LKQ is looking for immediate hire for our 1st shift warehouse in Plainfield. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate warehouse associate. We are seeking candidates who are extremely motivated and ready to be a part of a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Duties:

• Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
• Offload containers in a timely manner while exercising care in the handling parts.
• Inspect each pallet and or case for proper quantities, items brands, and lot codes.
• Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assists with cycle counts.
• Picking, pulling, and sorting parts at a fast and accurate pace.

Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Candidates may be eligible for up to a $1000 sign-on bonus for a limited time.

Job Requirements:

• We are looking for Forklift Operators who are reliable, punctual and safety-minded, with a strong work ethic.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution center.
• Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork
• It is also important that you display a positive, helpful demeanor, and a commitment to providing the best in customer service.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate a forklift and meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting to 50 pounds frequently.
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
• You must also work well as part of a team and be willing to work long hours when necessary.
