Job Summary

Your responsibilities will include forklift operation, shipping and receiving, box stuffing, and working independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate a strong attention to detail. Forklift certification and the ability to lift heavy objects are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials and products within the warehouse.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory, locate items, and process orders.
• Collaborate with team members and provide support as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and participate in cycle counting activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, stacking, and arranging products and materials.
• Stuff boxes with products according to specified instructions and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks, verifying quantities and quality of items, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

• Forklift certification and proven experience operating a forklift safely.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 80 pounds without assistance.
• Excellent physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal management oversight.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and locate items efficiently.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software is a plus.
