Job Description
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Plan, manage time and multitask effectively
  • Lead continuous improvement workshops and projects and be able to drive KPIs to the team
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Manage and grow employees as part of the Warehouse team
  • Manage warehouse operations
  • Identify potential issues and alert the Material Planner to those issues to ensure proactive prevention
  • Lead team that specializes in Inventory Control
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in management or other relevant discipline required or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a US citizen
  • A strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management as it pertains to warehouse operations
  • Security:
  • Experience:
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of and experience with Lean Manufacturing and Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • Education/Training (both required and desired):
  • Advanced record-keeping skills
  • Highly experienced with cycle counting practices and applications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
