Weaver Distributors in Athens, GA is looking to hire for a Warehouse Position, Part time or Full time.
Founded in 1983, Weaver Distributors is an auto parts wholesale distributor that warehouses genuine automotive parts. We offer automotive parts for most makes and models of vehicles.
Warehouse Position must perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling order from stock, packing and shipping orders or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Hours for the position are Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to organizational standards
• Prepares parcels for mailing
• Open crates or other containers
• Heavy lifting of Automotive parts
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
• Wear the proper safety equipment
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and work stations neat: sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

Qualification Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
• 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred
• Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills
• Dependable and Reliable

Physical Demands And Abilities

• Regularly required to use hands or reach with hands and arms, as well as to talk and hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than

100 lbs.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
