While working at the BASF plant in Attapulgus, GA, you will make the chemistry and technology. As a Loadout Clay Unloader you will help us conceive, design, implement and validate new equipment, technologies, and processes to help make our worlds environment cleaner.

During your time as a Loadout Clay Unloader you will…

• Complete Safety shift inspection checklists for the inside area and at #1 & 2 blenders.

• Work as a team with the outside operator to insure all the Shift Safety inspections are completed. Operate and troubleshoot all load out systems, Blenders, clay unloading systems and any other equipment needed to perform the Load out/Clay unloading jobs with the Wonderware DCS system.

• Direct and assist with the outside duties associated with all load out systems, Blenders, Clay unloading systems, connecting railcars, backing trucks into position to unload and load, making minor repairs to equipment and any other work associated with the Load out/Clay unloading operation.

• Schedule and direct truck drivers from the staging areas and truck stops using telephones, CB radio and plant radios, including properly spotting trucks per procedures.

• Process, complete and maintain all paperwork and computer work associated with load out, receiving and shipments.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

This is a union position and the starting pay rate is $25.48 H. Shift are rotating continuous being Off Shift . We provide a competitive benefits package that includes medical/dental/vision insurance for the employee and their dependents and a 401K plan with company matching.
