Position Summary:
Performs Warehouse Operator related functions and carries out responsibilities in materials and finished product movement.
Job Duties:

  • Complete necessary shipping worksheets to insure accurate loading of finished goods shipments.
  • Perform general warehouse sanitation in compliance with NFL, AIB and FDA regulations.
  • Perform battery charging and battery watering procedures.
  • Operate clamp truck, forklift, push/pull truck and conduct the necessary maintenance and safety check lists.
  • Constant improvement in truck loading accuracy and keeping damage to a minimum by reducing shipping errors and shipping damages while maintaining the daily truck loading schedule.
  • Manage finished product movement from the unitizer conveyor to ensure line operation.
  • Participate in warehouse consolidation projects and any other duties needed to maintain accurate inventory and a neat and orderly warehouse.
  • Ensure product integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction are met
  • Perform truck loading/unloading including following safety rules & guidelines, & JDE/scanning ticket procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as a willingness to work with and assist others
  • Must be able to meet physical, environmental, and mental requirements outlined either with or without accommodation
  • Minimum of three years forklift experience and forklift certification required
  • Proof of truck driving license, prior clamp truck experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment required
  • Must be willing and able to frequently lift 25 lbs.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills and math abilities required
  • Ability to communicate both verbal and written information to co-workers in a clear and logical manner
  • Frequent lifting, bending, walking and standing for long periods of time with ability to work indoors in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Ability to use PC and widely used software packages, I.E. RF Smart, E-1, Share Point, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
