Warehouse Operations Worker Jobs

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Department of Human Services (DHS) merged on July 1, 2022, to form one agency, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking a Warehouse Operations Worker to join our team.

The mission of Woodward Resource Center is to prepare and support individuals to live in the community of their choice. Discharge planning begins at admission.

As Part Of The WRC Team

• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Fill and assemble orders for 16 State of Iowa facilities from the Department of Corrections, Department of Human Services, and the Iowa Veterans' Home, as well as county organizations.
• Utilize warehouse equipment to complete work including pallet jacks and forklifts. Load orders onto delivery trucks.
• Monitor freezer and cooler temperatures, filling out daily logs.
• Complete assigned training.
• Receive and manage stock at the Central Distribution Center. Check merchandise received to insure meets CDC standards and is same product and same quantity as ordered. Monitor condition of deliveries, checking for damaged goods. Date and rotate stock to ensure oldest product is issued first.
• Maintain clean and tidy warehouse and grounds. Monitor for pest infestations. Complete assigned cleaning, utilizing power equipment as well as brooms and mops.
