Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:


The Warehouse Manager has overall accountability for the daily operations for all raw material warehousing with incoming production materials putaway, their supply to the production line, and outbound finished product sterilization cycle. The Warehouse Manager has responsibility for the company’s inventory cycle count program , annual inventory audit and provides analysis of material usage, inventory quantity, product obsolescence/expiration, material type, and value of material. This position reports to the Director of Warehouse & Logistics and works closely with Production, Procurement, Order Fulfillment, and interacts with Finance and Engineering departments.

This role will involve developing and implementing strategies to optimize internal logistics processes, manage inventory levels and accuracy, and timely delivery of product to our production lines in support of our customers and our NOP launch points.



·Key Responsibilities

oManage inventory cycle count program for entire organization including multiple remote stocking locations

oBuild and manage a high-performing team of Material Control / Inventory personnel

oExecute, monitor, analyze, and report on cycle count metrics and processes

oIdentify inventory discrepancies, analyze root-causes, and implement plans to improve inventory accuracy.

oStandardize product receiving/storing techniques to improve accuracy and product identification.

oReview and update SOP’s, train employees.

oSupport growth and mitigate complexity challenges with other departments.

oDevelop and implement continuous improvement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency (Bar-coding, Systems, Etc.)

oDesign and implement Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maximize process efficiency

  • Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications including WMS applications
  • In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
  • Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills
  • Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities

REQUIREMENTS:

·5+ years’ experience in Warehouse Management role in a manufacturing industry preferable medical device

·Experience in implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) both in physical and digital space

·Demonstrated knowledge of Supply chain management tools and processes

·Proficient in a variety of computer programs and systems, at an intermediate level, including Word, Excel, Email, Internet, QAD and Agile.

·Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills with outstanding ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

EDUCATION:

·BS/BA degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
