Job Title: Warehouse Manager (Medical Supply Company)
Pay: $67,000 salary

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and team supervision. You will work closely with various departments to optimize processes, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize warehouse management systems and other software tools to maintain accurate inventory records and track product movement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to warehousing and logistics.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, ensuring accurate verification of products and compliance with quality standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout, racking systems, and storage methods to maximize space utilization and facilitate efficient order picking and packing.
- Manage inventory control processes, including regular stock counts, cycle counting, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the warehouse team, including supervisors, associates, and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures to create a safe working environment and minimize occupational hazards.
- Train and develop warehouse staff on operational procedures, equipment operation, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse strategies, policies, and procedures to improve operational productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to forecast inventory needs, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Coordinate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment, resolve any shipping or delivery issues, and optimize transportation processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track warehouse performance, identify trends, and propose actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within the medical supply or healthcare industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
