Warehouse Lead - Shipping

Key Responsibilities:

• May mentor less-experienced peers and assist supervisors but does not formally supervise others. May be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of a small team.
• Client/ internal customer care teams.
• Will work in conjunction with wave planner to print outbound trucks and ensures those are processed timely. May be asked to wave orders as needed.
• Works with Supervisor in troubleshooting problems that may occur with shipments. Work with
• Monitor shipping schedule and ensures trucks are loaded in accordance to their pickup times.
• Works in conjunction with Shipping supervisors to ensure activities of the team align with daily demand of the business.
• Willingness to take initiative to help other teams (Shipping/receiving) when needed.
• Ensures products are kept to their appropriate storage and shipping temperatures while getting orders ready and staging.

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday (11AM - 7:30PM), Friday: 9AM - 5PM)

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of related experience

Critical skills:

• Proficient in SAP
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be capable of working independently and self-directed with minimal oversight from management.
• Excellent time management skills
• High degree of flexibility needed, to meet challenges of working in a high-intensity environment with constantly changing priorities.
• Good critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to operate the Power Industrial Equipment as needed. (I.e., Order Pick, Stand-up Forklift, Reach Truck,)

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$16.85 - $28.09
