Baleon Capital is a private equity fund focused on investing at the early growth stage in capital efficient, B2B companies with high growth within Healthcare Services and Tech-enabled Business Services.

We are looking to for a VP/Principal level professional to join our growing investment team. The principals of Baleon Capital have a successful track record from two decades of previous investing experience and is actively deploying capital and has closed on several high growth businesses over the past 12 months. The firm is led by senior

professionals who seek to provide the type of mentorship model that molded their respective careers and track records.

Responsibilities

This role will offer a deeply thorough experience as an investor, as the VP/Principal will lead due diligence, monitor and drive legal documentation, develop financial models, participate in the investment decision-making process, source new opportunities, and work directly with portfolio companies at the board level. Those with an entrepreneurial spirit and attention to details will thrive in this role, as the VP/Principal will work directly with the Managing Partners and be able to leverage their creativity and leave their own imprint on the organization.

● a self-starter, able to complete tasks on deadline

● able to create and form relationships with executives and investors

● confident enough to argue in support of opinions, but open to being proven wrong

● self-awareness of our ecosystems and networks

Qualifications

● 3-5+ years of previous experience (preferably at least 3 years of principal investing experience in structured equity with operational experience as a plus)

● Deep knowledge and experience with transaction documentation

● Highly proficient with financial modeling

● Preferably Washington, DC or South Florida
