Vpk Lead / Assistant Teacher

Our VPK ratios are 16 children to 2 teachers. This allows more time for teaching, one on one interactions, less stress, and a more positive environment. If you are ready for a change we are looking for a Lead & Assistant VPK teacher. If you like having holidays, and non VPK days off, working 8:15am to 4:15pm, great pay, paid vacation, earned PTO, and just incase you get sick (sick pay) look no further. Experience is helpful, be willing to work in a team environment, be flexible, enjoy working with kids, have good communication skills, and have a current FCCPC or higher degree with 15 hours of literacy completed.



Duties

• Be willing to contribute ideas, and creative thinking to lesson plans
• Supervise children in the classroom and outside
• Work in small groups
• Keep accurate records for attendance
• Work in a team environment
• Communicate with parents through app and in person
• Attend VPK meetings
• Challenge and support children according to their individual needs

Requirements

We can train you if you have the heart to go with it. Education can only take you so far, but if this is your passion and in your heart you can be a great candidate.
We will help you with the following:
45 hours
literacy training
CPR/First Aid
Credential CDA, FCCPC, AA, AS, or BA ( If applying for Lead position )

You must be able to pass a level 2 screening, and be of good moral character.
