Vp/Director Of Finance

Robert Half is looking for a Project professional for an interim opportunity as a VP/Director of Finance.This contract opportunity will be providing financial leadership in managing budgets, overseeing all accounting functions, and conducting forecast analysis. In addition, as a member of the Executive Team, the VP/Director of Finance will participate in the strategic planning process and will maintain and report on key financial metrics.
Your responsibilities in this role

• Create professional relationships with the company's bankers, auditors, government agencies, and other professional organizations
• Manage the annual/quarterly/monthly budgeting and forecasting processes
• Report regularly on the company's key financial metrics for internal and board stakeholders
• Oversee the preparation of relevant materials for detailed business unit projections and highlight risks/opportunities
• Work with the executive team to develop operational and long-term budgets and forecasts for all aspects of the organization and then monitor and report on performance against those budgets
• Drive financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends to create impactful insights, reporting results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improving forecasting and modeling accuracy
• Adhere to the company's accounting policies and procedures

Requirements

• Must be able to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment with excellent written and verbal skills
• Minimum of 8 years' experience at an executive level role
• Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
• Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
• CPA designation or MBA highly preferred
• Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Demonstrated high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
