Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a talented VP, Protect Product Management (Portfolio) who will be responsible for portfolio management of all assigned fraud mitigation products achieving revenue, growth and retention goals by working collaboratively across Co-op.Provide input to Ideate team enabling a fully integrated comprehensive fraud strategy across all Co-op products.Elements include revenue generation, operational efficiency, Sales ACV goals, market value prop, product lifecycle management, and product enhancements using Co-op processes and SLAs to meet the goals of the organization.
WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:
  • Supports and manages the Protect Product Managers and Create team supporting the annual product roadmap in keeping with Co-op’s corporate strategic plan and ever-changing market dynamics.
  • Serves as a corporate spokesperson for Co-op’s Protect portfolio carrying out speaking engagements and interviews with trade publications.
  • Develops and executes the budget process for applicable areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure Protect and fraud mitigation product strategy is identified and documented into the cross channel product teams including Engage, Pay, Services, and integrate driving top line debit volume and revenue.
  • Guides and responsible for all team usage of all processes are leveraged within established guidelines for product management.
  • Works across product lines leveraging all of Co-op’s technological assets to produce the most compelling product suite possible with specific focus on fraud mitigation as a comprehensive service across multi-platform and multi product integration and capabilities.
  • Work across the organization to deliver revenue and ACV supporting the corporate annual planning.
  • Analyze and adjust market pricing supporting corporate objectives for profitability and growth.
  • Identifies, negotiates and manages relevant business partners and vendors who provide the development and support services for protect (fraud) products generally available to Credit Unions. Manages, mentors, and develops direct reports; establishes quantitative and qualitative performance measures related to delivery of committed and planned product initiatives.
  • Deliver product enhancements required to maintain product compliance, competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
  • Must react to change productively, handle other essential tasks as assigned, and re-deploy resources efficiently.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • The incumbent must be an independent thinker with excellent written communication skills along with the ability to use investigative logic in identifying market trends, client needs, and solution options.
  • The incumbent must be able to evaluate situations and make decisions, as well as lead and direct teams directly responsible for plan execution.
  • Analytical, quantitative, written, and presentation skills, along with proven, project management, cross organization and positive leadership skills.
  • Mentor and support assigned team growth in product knowledge, process, and deliver to meet the objectives of the team.
  • Ability to solve problems with a focus on payments fraud.
  • Product lifecycle management analysis, financial reporting, and growth/efficiency mechanics.
  • Expert knowledge payments fraud trends, competitor services, and tools required to differentiate Co-op Solutions ecosystem of products.
  • The VP of Product must demonstrate superior industry knowledge in the area of payments and payments related fraud services, tools and strategies.
SUPERVISOR FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (if applicable; N/A if not applicable)
  • Manages supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Directs and Manages assigned fraud product lines crossing platforms and products.
  • Provides overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department and supports the SVP Portfolio in delivery of all assigned goals.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, and terminating employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • 10 years’ experience in managing a variety of fraud product lines in the EFT and financial services industry.
For California, Colorado and New York Applicants: In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:
$155,000.00 - $205,000.00
Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
