Job Overview:

The VP of International Finance will be responsible for overseeing the global financial operations of the company, including financial planning and reporting. Additionally, he/she will partner with the CEO to identify and secure capital funding for the company and to identify funding sources for major partners in developing countries that are implementing large testing programs.With most of our revenue coming from outside the US, this leadership position will operate with a global perspective.


Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals

•Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.This includes working with our India subsidiary, HemexDx, in Mumbai and its financial function.Lead the overall tax strategy for the company in consultation with our US and India advisors.

•Manage the Controller who oversees the accounting and financial reporting function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

•Analyze financial status and provide recommendations to senior management on business operations, investments, and financial planning.Lead our global risk management strategy and cash planning.

•Work closely with the CEO to identify and secure capital funding sources for the company, including debt and equity financing.Identify and implement strategies to leverage our global accounts receivables, finance inventory and develop leasing or placement programs for major customers.

•Connect with global development financing organizations to identify funding sources for public organizations that want to broadly utilize Gazelle in large screening programs

•Develop communication programs and relationships with current and potential investors, lenders, and funding organizations.

·Contribute to overall company direction as a member of the executive management team.Lead the advancement of our financial systems and processes to respond to company growth.

·Oversee our corporate governance and equity/option system (Carta).

•Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.


Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred

•5 + years of experience in financial management including work in international finance, preferably in the global health area. 10+ years of experience in business.

•Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including accounting, financial analysis, consolidated financial statements, and risk management.Exposure to Indian financial systems is a plus.

•Demonstrated experience with participating in identifying sources of company funding

•Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders

•Ability to lead and manage financial professionals

•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

•Experience with financial reporting and compliance requirements
