Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our Global Operations team as the Vice President Global Supply Chain Management. Reporting to the Global Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for developing and leading strategies and standard processes to optimize the performance of our global supply chain and operations. This person will work across global regions, languages, cultures, and norms, within a matrix organization to drive performance through the deployment of sound strategy, aggressive yet attainable commitments, and enhanced skillsets and tools.

What You’ll Do

• Identify demand forecasting methods and KPIs for consistent global application.
• Collaborate with procurement to create a cost-optimized supply network.
• Advise and govern supply chain planning during new product launches.
• Proactively manage stakeholder relationships across various functions and regions interacting with internal teams such as Operations, Product Management, Strategic Purchasing, etc. while engaging with external partners, customers, and freight forwarders.
• Lower freight, warehouse, and carrying costs while improving customer lead times and fulfillment on-time delivery.
• Establish and maintain a global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for risk mitigation and high service levels.
• Manage, coach, and empower team members to achieve project goals and priorities.
• Shape Supply Chain processes to increase competitiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure the continuous improvement of the end-to-end processes across global sites.

What We Require

• 7+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management or related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electronic component production technologies.
• Possess strong analytical skills and project management capabilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in the electronics industry.
• Proficiency in S&OP and Integrated Business Planning.
