The VP, Finance will play a critical role in enabling the organization to meet its strategic objectives. By demonstrating leadership, will be able to impact and drive change, have an influential impact across the organization, whilst maintaining accountability for the medium-term financial planning process, capital allocation process, supporting the corporate development team and the provision of finance advice around analysis of strategic business objectives. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate a true partnership with the business leadership, SVP, Financial Planning & Analysis, work closely with and influence key functions, and champion a return on investment and data-driven decision-making culture. The ideal candidate is also expected to play a key role in the company to define the future Target Operating Model and implement and deliver the growth, margin, and cost targets.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Act as an influential and trusted partner to the business in identifying and developing new growth opportunities
  • Enable the business to deliver margin accretive, double digit, recurring and organic revenue growth by materially influencing revenue and cost lines by supporting the preparation, financial appraisal and approval and monitoring of long-term business plans, pricing decisions, investment opportunities, and significant projects
  • Work with Banner to lead the Annual Strategic Financial Planning process, including identifying key drivers and sources and levers of revenue growth, modeling scenarios, developing a realistic projection to support investor and Board expectations, and working with Commercial Finance colleagues to develop a robust Budget which withstands rigorous testing
  • Responsible for the financial planning and analysis, including divisional profitability, strategic decision making, cost/benefit analysis of business initiatives
Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Acceptable Job-Related Experience: 12+ years
Technical/Other Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Strong aptitude for Technology
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt throughout the day to respond to ad-hoc requests
