Job Description

Position: Financial Planning and Analysis Lead

Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possible Extension or Conversion)

Location: Jacksonville, FL

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead is a senior professional role responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of current and projected performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Drive forward looking processes including annual 3-year Strategic/Operating Plans, Quarterly Multi YearScenario Forecasts (QMMF), and bi-monthly outlooks in partnership with segment, business, and countryFP&A teams.
  • Create financial reports and meet with finance team to clearly summarize financial trends and provide insight to senior management.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Prepare analytics in support of the Finance Chief Operating Officer Reviews, including business initiatives.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Build relationships across the Finance COO teams, the Finance disciplines Planning Coordinators, and the Global Function Finance FP&A Team. Role will interact with Leadership across these teams.
  • Prepare presentations and analysis for the team supporting the Finance Chief Operating Officer.
  • Advise on directional strategy and provide guidance on significant business/product decisions.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Experience in providing financial analysis for monthly forecast, strategic multi-year forecast and annual operating budgets.
  • Proven relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships across the business, executive leadership and key functional support areas.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge with financial systems Oracle, COGNOS TM1/Essbase.
  • Should have excellent proficiency in MS Office - particularly Excel, PowerPoint (presentation desks).
  • Highly organized individual who can coordinate multiple deliverables, orchestrate timelines, communication submission instructions, and consolidate multiple requests in a uniform voice.
