Position Summary
We are seeking a VP, Analytics & Insights to provide inspirational leadership and value with their extensive knowledge of digital marketing, data science and measurement that uncovers insights and opportunities advancing client solutions.
The ideal candidate has a strategic and solid foundation of knowledge in media measurement/modeling, Google Analytics, database marketing principles and statistical modeling. They should bring excellent aptitude with technology and software, the ability to provide actionable business insights through analyzation of complex, high dimensionality data, awareness of best practices, and passion for understanding and implementing evolving industry trends.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead executive-level conversations to recommend and advise the best approach and evaluate results
  • Lead the deployment of analytic systems and reporting projects, including website testing, campaign management, Pilot/in-market analysis (A/B and multi-variate test
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Strategy, Creative, Technology, Media, SEO) and clients to design, implement, and execute measurement solutions learning agendas and roadmaps that improve media program, website, and marketing program performance. Equal ability to lead statistical/database marketing efforts as financial analysis and statement efforts.
  • Oversee report definition and generation on marketing (including website/mobile, Paid Media, direct, loyalty program and more) using an array of tools and applications, and promote adherence to defined processes
  • Recommend KPIs and establish measurement process for media plans, personalization strategies, loyalty programs, and other marketing efforts
  • Blend strong analytical aptitude with business acumen to understand marketing strategy, objectives and drive data-driven analyses that serves the customer first
  • Manage, support, mentor, grow and empower a team of analysts with expertise in marketing performance analysis, dashboarding, website analytics, customer segmentation, financial analysis, ROI modeling, lifetime value analysis, cross channel analysis, and media mix analysis.
  • Succinctly combine multiple data points and present deliverables in an articulate, visually appealing, and easy-to-understand fashion with a clear storyline that addresses client needs and objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Adept at identify trends, opportunities, and risk
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including storytelling abilities
  • Deep understanding of media landscape, site analytics, attribution, and CRM systems for holistic advising (ex. Adobe Omniture, Google 360, Bizible, VisualIQ, Salesforce, Eloqua)
  • Working knowledge of one or more analytical software platforms (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Alteryx, or open-source data mining tools such as Python)
  • Working knowledge of Scrum/Agile experience and methodologies
  • 5+ years in an analytical role within a marketing/advertising employment setting
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, economics, operations, marketing/business, research, social science, or related area)
  • 10+ years’ experience leading people and teams
  • Experience in a services industry (agency and/or consulting)
  • Experience with database marketing, economic modeling, data mining and predictive modeling
  • Strong project management, attention to detail and time management skills
  • 10+ years’ experience in reporting and analytics
  • Experience with digital marketing analytics software (Adobe Analytics, GTM, Omniture, Google Analytics, ViQ, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of database querying, reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, SQL).
