Virtual Post Partum/Nursery Nurse

Responsibilities:

We are looking for 1-2 Registered Nurses with a background in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, Well Baby Nursery, NICU for a clinical study evaluating Infant Formula. This role will last approx. 6 months and require approx. 10-20 hours per week primarily on weekends with some weekdays as needed. The hours of the study are 9am-7pm EST 7 days a week.

This role is a part-time contract position that will be fully remote. This position will require the RN to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills. Your responsibilities will include:

·Schedule all study booking requests that come in over the weekend. Troubleshoot any errors that come through, view multiple calendars, and assign nurses to calls as appropriate.

·Train participants (via TEAMS and/or Zoom video calls) on how to measure infant weight, length, and head circumference and observe to evaluate for accuracy.

·Document in the study portal, excel spreadsheets, and communicate with the study team any abnormal findings.

Requirements:

·Registered Nurse: Prefer L&D, Nursery, NICU, Post Partum experience.

·At least 1-2 years working with infants and new parents

·Flexibility to learn new topics and pivot as needed

·Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Zoom)

·Attention to detail and complex problem-solving abilities

·Strong work ethic and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple work streams, projects and deadlines

·Dedicated workspace that will be interruption free and allows for the privacy of the participants during the study video visits. Willingness to learn new software and pivot role based on job role needs
