WHAT IS A VIRTUAL APPOINTMENT SETTER?


A Virtual Appointment Setter makes phone calls to union members who have signed up to receive supplemental benefit plans that help protect their families far beyond what is covered by their employer. The Appointment Setter's role is to schedule a meeting time that will work with both the client's schedule and the Enrollment Representative they are meeting with. Successful Virtual Appointment Setters are great communicators who are energetic, friendly, positive-minded, and organized.



RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Contact clients via phone who have requested their benefits and schedule a Zoom meeting for them with their Enrollment Representative.
  • Provide attentive customer service and communicate any necessary administrative support in response to clients' needs.
  • Weekly virtual check-in meetings with your leadership.
  • Follow-up with clients who need to be rescheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS:


We're seeking candidates who have the following qualities, but we've found you don't have to have experience with setting appointments in order to be good at it. If you've had some administrative or customer service experience, or you've worked in a sales-oriented environment in the past, you're exactly the type of candidate we're looking for.


You need to be familiar with basic technology, and you need to have your own laptop/computer!

Excellent communication skills are a must.
