• Monitoring Storyful’s news feeds and proprietary tools for emerging videos that will be used daily by news organizations around the world
• Manage the execution of licensing agreements with content creators, both by phone and via written outreach.
• Work with an international editorial team to find contact information for content creators and following up directly with those involved in stories
• Identifying and acquiring the key videos within any breaking or developing story
• Working to deadlines and set targets
• Writing clean, concise and accurate copy for publication on the Storyful Newswire.
• Verifying images, posts, and videos from the social web

• Phone skills are essential to the role
• Sales experience is beneficial
• Expert understanding of content discovery on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok etc.
• A self-starter who is plugged into current events around the world.
• Preferred but not required: language abilities and video editing skills are an advantage, but not mandatory
• A fluid, natural communicator who can write copy for publication.
• Target-driven attitude
• An excellent command of English is essential and comfort in speaking on the phone to clients, sources and video uploaders is a requirement.
• Ability to spot emerging stories on social media, find the source, and verify the content
