Job Description

Robert Half is currently working with a Social Media/Marketing company who is currently looking for a Vice President of Product Management. As the VP of Product you will be responsible for managing a team of product managers/owners, UI/UX professionals, and more. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to strategically drive products forward with a focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology.


This is an on-site role in Las Vegas, NV. This role IS NOT REMOTE. The candidate will need to either live in Las Vegas or relocate to Las Vegas once offer is extended. Relocation bonus will be be provided to candidates outside of Las Vegas.


Job Duties:

  • Keep abreast of changes in the dating /e-commerce and social industries, and actively seek to improve our offerings.
  • Analyze and evaluate potential new product and feature ideas
  • Lead the team in feature implementation and product updates
  • Manage a team with various experience levels, mentoring product managers on various skills and professional development
  • Coordinate with development, customer service, and all relevant stakeholders to drive efficiency and correct usage of new and existing products by leveraging insights, generating new and creative ideas, and performing ongoing audits of current strategies and tactics.
  • Participate in company planning and setting business goals using the OKR methodology, leading the product initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and other teams to own the product roadmap and manage the product development cycle, implementing criteria for success with a focus on data-driven decisions, and driving fast agile, high-quality releases.
  • Develop a strong understanding of employee needs, department requirements, customer desires, and business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships for 3rd party tools and other strategic partnerships
  • Working directly with the CEO and COO, develop product strategies for multiple products


Requirements:

  • B2C experience is a plus
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, etc.
  • Experience with growing seedling projects and advancing established brands to generate positive revenue results
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Sociology, Psychology, or a relevant area of study
  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to strategize, communicate, and prioritize quarterly tasks within a close-knit team setting.
  • B2B experience will also be considered as we are always open to developing new products
  • 10+ years of Product Management Experience or equivalent
  • Proven experience with product marketing plans, communication, and flawless execution
  • Solid writing and presentation skills are a necessity
