The role

The Vice President and Head of Platform within the Large Scale Manufacturing Business Unit is responsible for developing, ensuring and maintaining the Large Scale Manufacturing Platform across all parts of the global Large Scale production capacity network in close collaboration with ongoing capacity expansion projects and site leadership. This way FDB provides an identical experience, product and quality to all large scale customers along with agility and flexibility within the global FDB large scale network. The Platform is based on well-known solutions and standards where the Platform team ensures alignment as well as consistency across all large scale facilities, at all FDB sites, to ensure large scale facilities are identical or similar on equipment, automation processes and procedures when required.

The Head of Platform manages the Platform organization through the Platform leadership team and is responsible for the 2030 Large Scale Platform vision – we call it KojoX. KojoX is how we realize our ambition to be a leading global CDMO with a Partners for Life focus. It embraces a platform-based ONE global CDMO partner business model that orchestrates, optimize and realize client needs across all steps in the drug lifecycle – and covering the full product supply chain – with speed, full flexibility and scalability in a cost-effective way with high quality and reliability.
