Summary:
Our client, a prominent veterinary organization, is seeking a Talent Manager to join their Talent Acquisition team. This person will report to the VP of Talent and work cross-functionally with our hospital leadership teams to develop and run strategies related to sourcing, screening, and hiring top-tier talent for our hospitals (Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians/Nurses, Assistants, etc.)
Regional Position (West Coast), up to 25% travel within region.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization as well as external vendors.
- Attend conferences to meet and attract the best talent in various industries such as veterinary, retail, hospitality, etc.
- Understand and own your hospitals’ hiring needs by partnering with the leadership team to identify strategic talent pools, manage candidates through a mutual assessment process, source top-tier candidates, and work with candidates through all parts of their offer process.
- Act as a strategic thought partner with the Talent Team/hospital leadership in order to understand and execute against the constantly evolving needs of the organization.
- Create talent strategies through deep expertise of industry best practices, diverse relationships and networks, and strong cross-function execution.
Requirements:
- 4-year degree from an accredited undergraduate institute (any field of study) preferred.
- Experience with candidate management in either a CRM or ATS platform.
- Experience with (phone, video, and in-person) interviews, candidate screening, and assessment.
- 4+ years of recruiting experience.
