Venture Associate Jobs

Morrison Seger Venture Capital Partners, LLC is a private fund management company looking for a Venture Associate who will support the owner to source, execute, and manage startup investments. The ideal candidate has incredible attention to detail and is a self-starter with commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist owner in the organization of raising funds and investments.
• Provide ongoing management with portfolio companies and assistance for invested companies.
• Work closely with the owner to present deal opportunities to investors.
• Act as a liaison between the company, founders, management teams, lawyers, and accountants.
• Manage pipeline of deal flow to successfully structure and close investments
• Source and evaluate potential investments related to the market or specific sector through financial due diligence, market research and competitive analysis.
• Manage the investment process from potential investment target to deal completion.

Qualifications/Skills

• Degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, or similar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Initiative and comfort working through uncertainty/unstructured environments
• Ability to attend local networking events
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• 1 year of work experience in a related field.
