Job Description
ShopShops is looking for a Vendor Success Manager (VSM) to join our US team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and has worked in account management, vendor management, business operations related roles at e-commerce focused, or omni-channel brands and/or platforms. This is a rare opportunity to be a key contributor to a small but mighty (and quickly growing) team in a fast-adopting product category that has never been more relevant. Your colleagues have a fun and open work dynamic and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" startup mentality balanced with strategic vision and focus. This position will report to the VP of Business Operations and work closely with the SVP of Sellers. The ideal VSM is operationally minded, has a natural ability to "WOO" (win others over), and is experienced in Vendor/Customer relations. They will supervise one Vendor Services Assistant. The salary range for this position will be $65,000-$85,000.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supporting BD team in signing and onboarding up high-priority vendors/partners
  • Business Development Accounts Executor responsibilities including but not limited to:
  • Various ad-hoc projects to support the organization's growth and business development
  • Participate in sourcing, vetting, testing, and managing new vendor tools
  • Account executive to key partners
  • Create processes to support growing roster of vendors and vendor types
  • Manage vendor services team
  • Build SOPs and playbooks that are replicable and scalable for various vendor types
  • Create new workflows to resolve pain-points and improve efficiency
  • Project manager for day-to-day projects (e.g product, payout, orders)
  • Supervise one Vendor Services Assistant
  • Elevate Vendor Service program
  • Oversee Web portal development and related vendor tools
  • This person will continue to build upon and create new best-in-class processes and services


Qualifications:
  • Intermediate to advanced mastery of Excel
  • Preferably based in NYC area
  • Strong organization and ability to manage up and manage down
  • Ability to perform AR/AP related reconciliations
  • Confidence to support CX escalation decisions
  • 5 years experience ideal
  • Advanced or super user qualifications with industry leading ERP's and OMS tools
  • Simple accounting knowledge important
  • Good cross-functional team communication
  • Strong client facing skills
  • Bilingual (Mandarin) plus (English skills most important)
