Responsibilities
- Work for timing products including but not limited to synthesizer, buffers, analog and digital PLLs. The tasks include but not limited to developing validation plans, designing hardware and software for product validation, executing validation tasks and carring out validation summary and reports.
- Support applications for customer issues and provide proper feedback with feasible solutions.
- Address product quality issues, highlight bugs to design team and drive improvement and bug fix.
- Work across with design team, product team, test team and application team for product development from pre-silicon to production release.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using basic lab equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, phase noise system, spectrum analyzers
- Experienced in developing automation software using Python and/or LabVIEW is a plus
- Good knowledge and experience in silicon electrical characterization, especially high speed signal measurement
- Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuits, escpecially PLLs, is required
- Knowledgeable in timing products and lab measurement methodology
- Knowledgeable in termination techniques of transmission lines for high speed signal
- Knowing I2C, I3C and SPI protocols is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills is required
- Strong organizational skills is required to respond promptly to multiple customer engagements on-going simultaneously
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems, circuits, and devices is required
Education
BSEE or BSCSE + 2 years experience or MS or PhD
