What this job involves –
The Validation Engineer is responsible for ensuring that equipment, systems, and processes are validated according to industry standards and regulations. Their main duties include designing validation protocols, executing validation studies, analyzing data, and writing validation reports. They work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and R&D to ensure that products and processes comply with regulatory requirements and are safe, effective, and reliable.
What is your day to day?
Develop and execute validation protocols for new and existing products, processes, and equipment.
Gather and analyze data to ensure that validation protocols are successfully executed.
Identify and address non-conformances and deviations through investigations and corrective actions.
Write and review technical documents such as validation reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and test protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Maintain and update validation documentation and ensure traceability and accuracy of information.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing process improvements.
Support operations team with MEP system failure follow-up and execution closeout against all QA/HS&E/client deadlines.
Desired experience and technical skills
Required:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of validation principles and regulations (e.g., FDA, MHRA, EMA).
Previous experience with executing validations in a regulated environment.
Preferred:
Knowledge of HVAC systems is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented and able to identify and address potential issues or risks.
Familiarity with statistical software and other tools preferred.
Expected Salary Range: $85-95k
