Validation Engineer Intern/ Tester (Contract)

Position Description and Qualifications: Position Summary:

System tester to serve as engineering support internally for automation S/W product and infotainment product; Function and black box testing for S/W; Documentation for features and functions; Track, investigate and solve bug issues; Evaluate /analyze / counter measure bug during development and production with engineering team, and H/W team for electronics software issues; Create test case and test plans, provide fallouts for root cause from electrical perspective; create technical reports; Prepare material and develop issue list for internal meeting; The teammate will be also be participating in group evaluations of Infotainment products; and assisting the evaluation team with research and documentation tasks. Schedule would be 40 hrs/week.

Required Skills and Education Requirements:We are looking for candidate with H/W or S/W background with some experience in automotive system or electronics. Understanding of black box testing, connected service, HF, BT, automation, python, and cell phone connectivity is a plus. Most importantly, the candidate must have a passion for audio, electronics, mechanical, hands-on experience with some form of car work (studio sound, live sound, car audio, home audio, etc.), and practical knowledge of automobiles.
