Ux Designer Intern Jobs

We are seeking a talented and driven UX Designer to join our dynamic startup team. As a UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and enhancing the user experience of our innovative products. This position is open to candidates who are eligible for the Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT) programs during their first year.

Please note that this is an unpaid position. The ideal candidate would view this as an opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of a vibrant startup environment while making a meaningful contribution to our user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Implement user-centered design principles to create intuitive and engaging experiences across different platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project goals and user requirements.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics data, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs, maintaining consistency and quality throughout the development process.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate user flows, interactions, and interface designs.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and tools, and apply them to improve our design processes and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field.
• Eligibility for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT) during the first year.
• Solid understanding of user research methodologies, usability principles, and information architecture.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions based on user needs and business goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a proactive and self-driven attitude.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, user-centered design principles, and successful UX projects.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
