Responsibilities
Assists, develops, and delivers department specific training, online courses, and programs. Provides direction and facilitates the new and developmental employee orientation program(s). Performs various tasks associated with training development and administration, including assessment, development, delivery, and evaluation of training and organizational programs. Assists in the development of training tools. Assists the RN Educator and Support UM Leadership in designing training modules when required. Participates in departmental initiatives as identified by Utilization Management leadership. She/he will be used as adjunct staff as needed to process organization determination requests or determination notifications, assist with processing appeals, or any other duties assigned per leadership discretion.

Qualifications
Education
Required: Licensed Vocational Nurse; CEU requirement
Preferred: N/A
Experience
Required: A minimum of 3 years or training experience. Need to have experience in classroom training and development of materials focusing on dynamic training techniques
Preferred: Experience working with insurance (HMO, PPO, and POS) companies to obtain authorizations and pre-certification for medical services
License(s)
Required: TX LVN license, Valid Driver’s license
Preferred: N/A

Required: Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational, presentation, analytical, problem solving, and facilitation skills
