Responsibilities


Responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative research through surveys, user interviews, focus groups, and topical research. This includes recruiting participants, formulating questions, analyzing results, and synthesizing report findings.

Responsible for assisting with the collection of measurements along with the ITS strategic analytics plan, including developing new and maintaining existing surveys and statistics for department programs and operations. This includes collecting and analyzing existing statistical data, identifying gaps in ITS data collection, and reporting on the divisions' trends, and making recommendations on areas of improvement.

Responsible for researching national trends and making recommendations for new products, gather best practices in usability, and creating partnerships to reach the strategic goals for ITS.

Responsible for engaging with stakeholder groups to identify research needs. Reviewing research results and creating reports and presentations for the stakeholders to use when making decisions.

Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree and two years’ experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience (Note: or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to six years)

Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop changes or alternatives.

Ability to gather, interpret, report, and/or edit information.

Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.

Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.

Knowledge of applicable computer software and operating systems.

Knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodology.

Knowledge of the principles and practices of project planning, development, and evaluation.

Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of data collection.

Skill in preparing clear and concise reports, policies, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials.
