The Underwriting Assistant role will support the underwriting staff. Duties include, but are not limited to, submission clearing and rating, policy and endorsement issuance, booking of premium, and completing account analysis worksheets while using both first and third party systems. This role will be required to communicate with both internal underwriting staff and the external broker community on a professional level. The ideal candidate will have a proficiency with Microsoft Excel, be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task while prioritizing workloads.
