HerMD is seeking an experienced registered Ultrasound Technologist to join our patient care team in Millburn, NJ!

About The Role
The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who is certified in abdominal and gynecologic sonography.
The successful candidate will communicate clearly and frequently with our team to ensure the highest level of care for our patients. This is a part-time position consisting of 2 days per week with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as our patient volume increases.

RequirementsResponsibilities

• Work independently or with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Explain ultrasound procedures to patients so they feel comfortable with the experience.
• Manage multiple priorities and projects, and display flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.
• Display a good work ethic and a positive, professional, attitude!
• Prepare the exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct examinations.
• Pursue professional development for the continual improvement of patient care.
• Alert appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that need immediate attention.
• Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality.
• Use the ability to solve problems and make decisions.
• Calibrate, maintain, and control all ultrasound equipment.
• Recognize and record the appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human anatomy and functions
• A passion for improving womens healthcare!
• Ability to multitask
• Gynecology sonography certification required
• Ability to communicate with patients and medical staff clearly and concisely
• High level of professionalism
• 2+ years experience as a gynecologic or abdominal ultrasound technician
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
