Ultrasound Tech W/O Vascular

Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the delivery of diagnostic images, exams and routine invasive procedures in the Ultrasound Department of Imaging Services and assist in the performance of other duties. Promotes Service Excellence.
II. Qualifications:
A. Education & Training:
High School graduate or GED equivalent. Graduate of an Ultrasound Program.
B. Experience:
None.
C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current registration with ARDMS or ARRT or registry eligible. Sonography registration within 12 months of hire. Current AHA BLS certification.
D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Analyzing information, job knowledge, create a safe effective environment, use of medical technologies, diagnostic procedures, bedside manner, medical teamwork, informing others, quality focus, radiologic technology, professionalism.
