The UI/UX Developer will be responsible for building out solutions using modern front-end technologies. This professional works with the UX Design team and stakeholders to implement functional/scalable prototypes for use in demos and usability testing that can also serve as a reference for integration to applications by backend developers.
Principal Responsibilities And Duties

• Products.
• Emphasis will be on building reusable, scalable and sustainable components following best practices and industry standards.
• Develop accessible, responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Participate in Agile Scrum Process to quickly iterate through components/pages and gain approvals from key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with UX Designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional components.
• Report on status to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering to integrate components into product applications.
• Clearly document code and communicate structural/coding decisions to peers and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with React (preferably Next.js) is a plus.
• Good overall oral and written communication skills.
• An eagerness to grow as a team and open to give and receive constructive feedback.
• 3+ years of previous experience in UI/UX development (link to portfolio required).
• Strong understanding of responsive design.
• Comfortable working closely with designers, project managers and developers.
• Up to date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Consistently meets required deadlines.
• Understanding of atomic design web development.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with designers, project managers and other developers as needed.
• Solid understanding of web best practices, information architecture, UX principles and accessibility.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and JavaScript.
