Truss Builder Jobs

The Truss Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the construction of trusses and ensuring that trusses are built accurately according to engineering plans, quality standards, and safety guidelines. (Spanish speakers welcomed)

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in truss building and assembly, with a proven record of leading teams in construction projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to handle unexpected challenges effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of truss systems, and construction techniques, excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward achieving project goals.

Responsibilities of the Position:

Set-up:

• Sets up equipment and material in order to assemble product according to the design provided.
• Reviews and analyzes work order to ensure proper materials are being provided.
• Maintains inventory by providing an accurate count of products.

Safety:

• Acknowledges and reports any defects or safety issues to supervisor immediately.
• Adheres to safety requirements by operating equipment and handling material in a safe and appropriate manner.

Payrate: $17.00 - $19.00

Shifts:

1st: 6 am – 2:30 pm

1st with overtime: 6 am – 4:30 pm

2nd: 3:30 pm – 12 am

2nd with overtime: 3:30 pm – 2 am
