Description
The Treasury Capital Analyst provides strategic support for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to Capital Planning and the bank's annual CCAR submission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the governance process and project planning to ensures connectivity and consistency of approach among the many groups involved in the development of the Capital Plan - including those in corporate risk management, credit administration, finance, business segments, operations, information technology, and human resources.
- Aide regulatory interactions for the capital plan while keeping abreast of regulatory guidance and industry best practices.
- Supports the development, review, and approval of related narrative and submission material.
- Develops/maintains procedures for processes that support the relevant capital plan.
- Assists in process improvement and supporting the continued implementation of Huntington's capital planning program enhancements.
- Drives work streams and manage projects associated with process improvements across the capital plan.
- Assists with monitoring and driving closure of internal audit findings and observations.
- Supports leadership in ongoing capital monitoring, forecasting, and planning including dividend, share repurchase, and peer analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Treasury.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to successfully develop presentations using data analytics on assigned topics to senior leadership.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- An advanced level of professionalism
- Ability to create and document standard operating procedures.
- Ability to work well and thrive within a team environment.
- Must exhibit strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services
- Ability to work with multiple partners and influence change.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple logistic tasks simultaneously.
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
